Mr. Lovasz has performed with famous artists such as John Williams, Zoltán Kocsis and Kristof Baráti in many different venues, including the Palace of Arts and the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary, the St. Thomas Church in Leipzig, Germany, and the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. He has also played in numerous orchestras such as the Chamber Orchestra of the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra, the American Youth Symphony, YMF Debut Orchestra and Orchestra Santa Monica. Currently, he is the principal cellist of the Valencia Symphony Orchestra. As a teacher, Mr. Lovasz enjoys sharing his experience and his love for music with his students. He has taught in Hungary at his Alma Mater, the Franz Liszt School of Music, as well as in the United States in music schools such as the 88 Keys Music Academy in Arcadia. Currently, he is a cello instructor at LA Pierce College, Dave Janssen’s School of Music in Simi Valley and iKnow Music Academy in Granada Hills. Thomas is available on Tuesdays.
